New Delhi: India’s one of the oldest newspaperThe Hindu” becomes one of the leading English daily newspapers in India. It has witnessed a growth in the Total Readership percentage by 6% and growth in the Average Issue readership to 4% which has registered a highest growth rate among three English Daily Newspapers.

The Hindu has added to 4, 61,000 readers throughout the nation quite times more than The Times of India.

The Indian Readership Survey recently released report by MRCU marked 1,03,000 more readers of The Hindu by TOI.  The south Indian cities of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka of the country have the most number of The Hindu readers times more than the TOI, The Hindu wrote in its report.

It has observed 46,70,000 total readership in the fourth quarter of year 2019. The Chief Executive officer of The Hindu said, “It is heartening to note that we have witnessed continued growth in all the quarters, even as we continue to disseminate verified information during these challenging times. We are thankful to our readers and to the advertisers for the continuous support for our quality and credible journalism”

The Hindu an English Language based newspaper was started as weekly in early 1878 and was then became a daily by 1899. Its headquarters are located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is mostly circulated in the southern part of the country.  It is nearly published from 21 locations in 11 Indian states.
